- Most people call me Kia, although my full name is Mekia. I was born and raised on the island of Hawaii, but I was very fortunate to travel a lot thanks to playing volleyball all over the country. I also studied language, culture, history,food and wine in Rome. I lived in Portland and Seattle before moving back home for good. One thing you may not know about me is I worked on a cruise ship for 9 straight months, starting in Puerto Rico, going around pretty much every island in the Caribbean, to Costa Rica, Panama Canal, Mexico, Canada, California and finally ended up back to Hawaii. So yes, I love to travel. I am getting married in October, teaching full time, coaching, and loving a new house that we just bought! Life changes so fast, I am very blessed to have such a great life.

Wow! You have been to Norway. It looks like you may have been on a cruise but my grandparents are from Sweden and they still want to go there. I like it would be great to tour the Scandinavian countries and with my grandparents would be able to give family history to some of the areas we would visit.
You are well traveled. The farthest I have traveled is to Hawaii. I would love to visit Guam and see the rest of my family. i can't wait to have the money to travel the world.
Congrats to you to use the world tool. I looked at the list of countries and no way was I going to atempt that! Plus, I haven't been to too many countries, poor me. I am just going to have to travel!
Thats great that you have been able to visit so many diffrent places. There are so many other country's I want to visit. I already mentioned I am going to New Zealand in a few weeks, I cant wait. My Step dad in from Canada and you have been there. That is one place i would love to spend some time, as well as Alaska.
Very impressive! It seems like you might win the world traveler award. That is one of my goals when it is time to retire.. travel, travel, and travel some more. Thanks for sharing with us.
I am jealous, you have been everywhere and you live in Hawaii. Does it get any better than that?
